Hi, I'm Isha — welcome! I'm a professional henna artist based in Charlotte, NC, and I've been doing henna and mehendi for over 25 years. What started as a childhood passion has grown into a business I truly love.
I grew up in Toronto, Canada, and first fell in love with henna at age 14 when I trained under renowned Bollywood artist Usha Shah in Mumbai, India. That foundation — steeped in traditional Indian mehendi — shaped the way I work today: a blend of timeless patterns and modern, personalized designs tailored to each client.
Since starting Isha's Henna Art in Charlotte, I've had the joy of creating beautiful henna for weddings, bridal showers, birthdays, cultural celebrations, corporate events, and everything in between. I'm based in Charlotte, NC, and available for bridal henna throughout the area — including Ballantyne, Indian Land, Fort Mill, Waxhaw, Weddington, Matthews, Concord, Huntersville, and beyond. I also travel to Charleston, Atlanta, Savannah, Greensboro, Greenville, and surrounding cities across North and South Carolina and Southeast.
